Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Contest.Zone, operated by Contest.Zone / operator to be updated post-entity. By using the site or entering a contest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enter a contest. Each contest may add its own eligibility rules in its Official Rules.
Skill-based contests, not sweepstakes
Contests on this platform are games of skill. Winners are determined by performance — highest score, then fastest server-measured time — not by chance. No purchase is necessary and there is no random draw. Each contest’s Official Rules control.
Contest rules incorporated by reference
Each contest has its own Official Rules page (linked from the contest). Those Official Rules are part of these Terms for that contest; if they conflict with these Terms for a specific contest, the Official Rules control for that contest.
Brand accounts
Brands that create contests must provide accurate information, keep their credentials secure, and are responsible for the contests they run — including the prize, their Official Rules content, and their use of captured leads in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Brand billing
Creating and publishing a contest from a Contest.Zone brand account is free, and each contest includes a limited number of leads at no charge. Access to further leads from a contest requires a one-time payment for that contest, collected by Stripe. Players can always enter, and winners are always selected from every entry, whether or not a brand has paid. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by this site. Shopify merchants who publish from the Shopify admin are billed for lead unlocks by Shopify, as a one-time app charge that appears on their Shopify invoice.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content; no attempts to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data; no scraping of entrant personal data; and no use of the platform to run games of chance presented as contests.
Fair play
You agree not to cheat, automate play, use multiple identities, or otherwise manipulate scoring. We may disqualify entries or void results we believe were obtained through abuse.
Prizes
Prizes, their value, and how they are awarded are described in each contest’s Official Rules and are provided by the sponsoring brand.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is.”
Governing law
These Terms are the agreement between you and Contest.Zone for use of Contest.Zone.
